Project Kind is dedicated to offering hope and housing solutions to individuals experiencing homelessness through a range of programs supported by individual donations and corporate sponsorships. We take the time to build meaningful relationships with the people we assist, getting to know their stories and recognizing their humanity. Sometimes, the simple act of covering two months’ rent can be the catalyst for a fresh start.
The statistics are indeed alarming; millions of households are teetering on the edge of financial disaster, often just one unexpected bill away from catastrophe. The paycheck-to-paycheck cycle doesn’t account for the unpredictability of bills or the need for essential medical care. Project Kind steps in to support those at risk of having their electricity shut off or facing eviction. Sometimes, it’s as straightforward as contributing to the bill, while in other cases, our dedicated lawyers provide pro-bono advocacy for our friends in need. We believe in sharing love and delivering hope.
Nationwide, over one million people are grappling with homelessness, and shockingly, 25 percent of them are children. A surprisingly high number are Veterans who, unfortunately, often struggle to access government assistance. Sometimes, the assistance available falls short of what’s needed for survival. With skyrocketing rent prices in certain regions, renting or owning a home becomes an impossible dream for many.

MOBILE OUTREACH
Through our mobile street outreach team, we offer essential services such as food distribution, provision of necessary items, mentorship, emergency/temporary housing, access to information, referrals to assistance programs, as well as emotional encouragement and support.
We believe in the power of sharing people’s stories on social media, enabling others to join in and become a part of someone’s journey by coming together and sharing whatever they can. It is important that they have the ability to be seen and heard.
Our primary objective is to provide the necessary support that allows individuals to harness their strengths and discover their purpose, all while navigating through their challenges and circumstances. This approach empowers them to move forward and create positive change in their lives. We actively encourage members of our community to participate and spread kindness through our volunteer program, which welcomes individuals of all ages to engage with our outreach initiatives, where we highlight acts of kindness and share inspiring stories.
SUPPORTING OTHER OUTREACHES
Local non-profit organizations frequently seek assistance from Project Kind. We consistently share our resources and view it as our foremost mission to empower others to assist those in need. Project Kind has extended its resources and connections to other non-profit organizations with aligned missions. Thousands of individuals have received help through our partner organizations, prompting requests for the establishment of additional Project Kind chapters in various states. Our enduring objective is to create a replicable model that can be expanded to other states and beyond.
